Dedicate a Shining Star to your loved one and then join us as we light up Waipuna Hospice as a tribute.
An opportunity to come together and share stories, poems, and photos of loved ones who are no longer with us.
Shining Stars Evening
- Friday 26th September at 6pm
- Waipuna Hospice – 43 Te Puna Station Road, Tauranga.
- Light refreshments and nibbles will be served.

On Friday 26th September, we will be lighting up Waipuna Hospice with Shining Stars lights to celebrate and remember our loved ones. We welcome all supporters to gather at Waipuna Hospice from 5:30pm onwards for refreshments and to view Star Sky dedications.
Our special Shining Star Switch-On Service will begin at 7pm in our garden, so please wrap up warm. The service is a wonderful opportunity to join together and reflect on memories of loved ones through live music and readings.
To close the night, we will gather for a special “Switch-On” Ceremony. A moment of reflection and celebration as Waipuna Hospice is illuminated by a constellation of dedicated stars. Each shining light represents a life, a memory, or a message of hope, creating a beautiful display that lights the way for others.
