Writing a Will is one of the most important things you can do to protect the people you love. It gives you peace of mind knowing your wishes are clear and the people and causes closest to you will be cared for in the future.

This September, Waipuna Hospice is making it easier to put those plans in place. Through our Free Wills Month campaign, you can create a basic Will or update an existing Will at no cost, thanks to the generosity of participating local legal firms.

Once you have provided for your loved ones, we invite you to use the power of one by considering a gift of just 1% of your estate to Waipuna Hospice. It’s a small portion that can help protect the future of hospice care, while the remaining 99% stays with the people that matter most to you.

Please note that this offer is for basic Wills and updates only. If your needs are more complex, please reach out to a local legal firm, which may charge additional fees.

Keep 99%. Give 1%.

Your loved ones remain at the heart of your Will.

By leaving 1% of your estate to Waipuna Hospice, the other 99% remains for the people closest to you, while your 1% helps protect compassionate hospice care for the future.

  • That 1% could help provide:
  • Specialist nursing and medical care in patients’ homes and at Waipuna Hospice
  • Practical, emotional, cultural and spiritual support for patients and whānau
  • Counselling, grief and bereavement support
  • Equipment that helps people remain comfortable and independent at home
  • Care and reassurance during some of life’s most difficult moments

One percent may sound small. But together, we can help ensure hospice care is there for everyone who needs it.
